This piece is inspired by one of my favorite shows growing up, “Hey Arnold.” A few months ago my son got a little Arnold figurine and it instantly hit me with so much nostalgia. I hadn’t thought about that show in forever. It took me right back to getting home from school, sitting in front of the TV, no worries about bills or responsibilities, just pure innocent entertainment on that twenty-inch behemoth of a screen.
 
After I finished the “Franklin” piece, I realized Arnold would translate perfectly into my style. The shape of his head alone was too good to pass up. While I was making this piece I kept laughing to myself thinking, “move it, football head.”
 
 
This piece is 16 x 20 x 1.5 inches on gallery-stretched canvas and framed in a black float frame. It’s sealed with a satin varnish, wired on the back, and ready to hang.
